Have you watch Candy Candy when you were a little girl?

Its a story about a girl name Candice White who was raised in Pony's Home. Her best friend was Annie who was adopted by the Brightons. She fell in love with the Prince of the Hill which look very much like Anthony Brown... which she fell in love with... awww... in short candy candy is the most beautiful cartoons/anime ive watch when i was a little girl.. she's very friendly, gregarious and kind... and she looks very much like Lady Georgie (by the way they were drawn by the same animator).... when i was a girl even dream of meeting her in the flesh with Anthony... were you able to watch this show too? what do you think of the story? :)

I was a great fan of Candy when I was a kid. I even bought a Candy - Candy single. My favorite Candy song:

thanks for your response.... were you able to finish this show till the end? In my country it was never finished, i was able to finish to story by reading the manga :D

here in the philippines, the whole series what not aired... ive heard that there is an italian version of the anime... :D i hope i could find a boxset of candy candy so i could watch it with my daughter when she grows up. :D happy posting!

Archibald was your first platonic love! Did you finish the whole series? You can search for the whole series in youtube... it was uploaded there... all the episodes....
too bad archie's brother, stear was killed in the war....
