Thinking back, for some of you who have been here a long time, others who have recently joined: How did you hear about mylot?
Where did you first hear about it? Did you think it could be a scam?
How long ago did you very first hear of mylot?
For me, I joined 2 months ago, I came across this link on a blog and thought it was worth a try. I did think it was a scam in the beginning until i started reading more on here and seeing with so many people, nobody was complaining about not getting paid, so I'm here and I love it!! :)

I received a referral from a friend from another site called gather.com. I didn't pay much attention to it and then I forgot about it. In January I was so desperate for work that I would finally give my lot a try. I have been here since february and I believe it is a great site.

ive only been a member for about 4 months now i think.
i heard about mylot from a post on another PTP site. lol i caught the post before it was deleted by the admin because it was referring to a competing site.
but i am glad i decided to check it out. i was like you at first and was expecting to not get paid. didnt want to get my hopes up and all that. but i did get paid and am extremly pleased to say so lol!

me, it's my best friend who actually seen this in the internet and she started discussing maybe about 4 or 5mos from now..she told me that mylot is a good site, that it really pay..but i'm not that eager before because i used to budget my money not taking so long in the internet cafe..but when she get her first and second payment, that's the time when i have the eagerness to join here and i'm happy coz i had my first payment and i'm satisfied with it...

I joined MyLot from my friend's referal. She even called me to join as she says it was really interesting for her. So I joined MyLot about 9 days ago and got help from many new friends I met here..

I joined about 6 months ago??? I'm pretty sure I saw it in someones post from ClubMom.com. Of course, I belong to so many of these forums that it could have been somewhere else, but I think that was it...
Even if I wasn't getting paid, I really enjoy talking with all the people here. For the most part, everyone's pretty cool!!!

I first heard about mylot from a friend. and she heard it from another friend, and i even told a friend. so it was more or less word of mouth. The first day i was here i only answered two discussions, and i thought PF what's the big deal, this is SO boring. and then a week later i came back to give it a second chance, and i've been here mostly all along since then! i had to take a month off.. but other then that i've been here nearly everyday at least for a few mins.

I was on this site called writing up and someone did a whole blog on it. At first i was skeptical. Do they really pay? but once i found out they do I was happy. I do tell anyone i can think of about mylot. it was about four months ago i think.

i JUST joined. found mylot.com on homejobstop.com. working different things to stay home with son. any kind of income helps here and there. so i'm here to test it! but it sure is fun so far! thanks for the opportunity!!

Well I never heard of it. I was looking for a survey site and this came up by mistake. I started reading and checking it out. So I tried it and yes I thought it was a scam. And Ive been here eversince every day. I love mylot there is no other site like this one. There are alot of them out there that try to be like mylot but they just dont cut it.

I joined a little over a month ago thanks to my dear hubby. He was reading some discussions to me and I wanted to put my two-cents in but he wouldn't type what I was saying. So I asked him for the link and here I am. Of course I don't post as much as he does, he has over $25 and over 1220 posts, I am struggling to make 100 posts lol. But even though I am a once-in-a-while poster, I am having fun and enjoy reading ALMOST everything posted on here.
