If you had more money or won a large sum of money do you think you would be happier? Can money bring people happiness? Can it be a key to being happy?

I don't think money can buy happiness, it's not directly related, it's more indirectly related in my sense. I believe having more money would open up a wider range of choices and since you don't have to work to hard to maintain the daily life needs, you could do the things you want to do, and you could try new things, and open up your horizon. Then you feel less worried about maintaining the daily life and there comes the calmness. Because you get to enjoy your life better, there comes the happiness. But of course, if the person spend lavishly without any plans, the money will soon be used up and the "happiness" won't last too long *laughs*!

while money might not buy you happiness but would certainly make life much better. I would consider it as taking care of my basic needs so that i can actually start living life.

I'm not going to say money can buy you happiness..I'll just say that it will pay for some good partying while in pursuit of that happiness...as far as I am concerned, if I got a large sum of money from somewhere, I would be able to do everything I was supposed to..that would make me more comfortable then happy..Money can be a key to happiness but like I said it isn't the primary source of happiness...

Because I do not have any money at this time, yes money would make my life a whole lot easier. There is no doubt about that in my mind. I don't need to be rich, I just need to have enough so that I do not have worry about paying bills and basic needs in life.
