Kids Changing Schools a Lot... Good or Bad?

My husband and I have moved around an awful lot. We have twins who are 9 years old (almost 10) and they have been to 9 different schools in about 6 different countries. Thankfully, from an educational standpoint, they are doing very well and they have settled into each and every school with great ease and have made some super friends... but is this moving around doing them any harm?
By the way, we will be moving back to UK (and staying there) when they start secondary school.

I can relate to this post, as a child growing up our mom moved us around all the time, enrolled my siblings and I in a dozen different schools, we hated it at first, but always made friends and blended into the school protocols and rules as always, today my siblings and I have loads and loads of friends from all over the place, and we all try to keep intouch as much as we can... I think this is neat to a certaint degree, this can be positive, alot of friends from all over... The negative feed back on this though, is that we all struggled to settle in one place. In our adult life we've moved from town to town and house to house, Now Im older, I have a husband, we have children Im more settled and more secure then I ever was...

Well thinking back to my childhood, I only went to 2 schools the primary and high schools, I was a very shy person and not good for change but I think if I had have been used to the change of schools when I was young I think maybe I would come out of the shyness sooner. I think moving around especially to different countries would make a child more open and I think the education would have to be good in the moving around in it self...I think your children would be more worldly than most...
