I have a very hard sleeping at night. When I do try to sleep something always wakes me up. Dogs barking, a bump in the night. The newspaper getting thrown against my house. Sometimes if i have a project i am working on. I will wake up and start thinking about it. I get my best work done laying in bed thinking. So then i have to get up turn on my computer and start writing. So is there anything that wakes you up at night? Or maybe something that keeps you awakes so you cant sleep??

It's very rare that I wake up in the middle of the night, my problem is getting to sleep in the first place! Because my brain won't shut down it keeps on processing stuff and worries you know the sort! So I don't drink so much coffee especially at night and keep a suduko book by the side of my bed, I actually find that number crunching tires my brain out! The only thing that disturbs me in the wee small hours is cats fighting or our fat puss trying to get into the catflap, he's on a diet at the moment bless him!

What wakes me up sometimes at night is the temperature inside or out. Weather ..such as storms wakes me up at night. Bad health sometimes causes me to wake up from sleep. My cat missy wakes me from my sleep. I have a whole lists of things that wake me from my sleep; but none of them luckily ever happen together;)+

I don't normally have problems sleeping but there have been one or two occasions on which I have had strange happenings wake me up. The full moon normally interrupts my sleep too, as it is going down in the west.
Other than that, unless I have a sudden urge to visit the bathroom, I sleep pretty soundly.
Brightest Blessings, my friend.

I think for me its just the hours I've been working. The last few monthes I've been working 10 to 12 hour nights and I work swing shift. When I get home from work, I cant just go to bed, so I'll sit on the computer until the sun comes up and go to work the next day with about 5 hours of sleep, if that. Try doing that 5 days in a row and fridays look real welcome. Take care!!

Well lately I have been sleeping pretty good. My cats will wake me up if they are running around, playing, or trying to get into things they aren't supposed to. They tend to be loud. Otherwise nothing else really wakes me up. Sometimes I'll hear the phone if I'm sleeping lightly. If something is going on the next day that I'm excited about then that will keep me awake and when I do fall asleep I am sleeping so lightly that any sound will wake me.

My husband he keeps me up at nights from snoring or breathing down my back LOL. I always tap him on his shoulders and try to get him to roll over so the snoring would stop. I usually can go back to sleep in a few minutes or so but if he keeps waking me up then I'll wake him up too.

I'm an insomniac, and so going to sleep for me at ANY time is a blessing. Most nights I end up staying awake till 3 or 4am and waiting till I'm tired to the extent that my eyelids start drooping, then it's just a short walk to the bedroom.
I usually sleep for around 4 hours at a time and then I'm back up again when my partner and kids come wake me up before going to school and work.

Auugggghhhh I so can feel your pain. Everything wakes me up too. We have a deaf cat so when she meow's it is really really lound. I think she can hear a little bit and this is why she is so loud. So I put a fan in my bedroom against the wall so I dont freeze. But manybe soem white noise will help you to rest better at night

I will wake up when my dormmate are keeping her call till midnight.I find it is hard to fall asleep especially when someone are talking or murmurring in midnight. And I find I cannot fall asleep after I did a lot exercises in daytime. My friends have the similar symptoms like mine. They complain that though they are tired but they cannot sleep in the night.

i could like to work at night.i would rather sleep at day that at night.i think it is better to think and work in the deep night, because at that time wy heart is more cool down than its at day.
