I love writing poems!

I love writing poems and I have lots of composition already. I am shy to let it be read by someone except my boyfriend. I am afraid they will criticize my composition and it will be the reason for me not to write poem again. But I want it to be published someday. Should I let it be read by others?

If you are not sure about your self them, it is better not to talk about it to any body, i thing we must be confident enough to present every good thing in front of other, if really you think that you are talented, then you must give it a finishing touch but, explaining this thing to others, as that way you will get more exposed and people will respond it accordingly, so start sharing it with other people also so that you will come out of it, i hope you will type one of your poem on mylot, if possible in reply to my discussions you can send it

Life began when I met you
My world became as colorful as red and blue.
I started dreaming to be always with you
Perhaps I am in love before I met you.
Smile started to flash on my face
Every time I come and even leave your place.
For I know you will wait for me to come home
I can’t wait to hug you so I called you on the phone.
It is very fulfilling you are at my side
Every time I wake up and open my eyes.
Time runs so fast I want it to stop
For I know you will leave, I don’t know when you will come back.
Love conquers all, people always say
Even storm and even you’re miles away.
Love will seek; it will always find a way
The two of us will soon be together, that’s what I always pray.
I hope you will wait and so I do
I will hold on to the promise I said to you.
I will do everything with the help of our God
I will find a way to be with you, no matter how tough and hard.

Well, if you really want to publish your poems you should be ready for criticisms - and your boyfriend is a good person to start with. Share it with him, including some of your closest friends. Ask them what they honestly think of your poems and go from there. If you receive good feedbacks, then you are on the right track and share the whole world your talent. If their feedback is not favorable, don't lose heart. Work on your writing to improve it. And when you get better, you will surely captivate people with your poems.

Alright! Thabk you so much for giving me confidence in doing so . Well, I think I should be really ready for criticisms. Okey, I know that there are lots of people from different countries, I think this is the best way to know each other's comment. I will post one of my compositions here. ^^

I write poems from a lot of years and I think you can read them to other people. Poems are never bad: they are our soul and we can't be shy :)
