Yeah, I have memorized verses quiet many but then, I've found out that we should not only just memorize them but what's important thing is that each verses we know should applied in our lives and it should be use for spreading the goodness of God not use for any debates as we could notice from some sorts of many religions around everywhere do such thing like them.

Yes, thats true, it is easier ti memorize them if we know these words by heart and be able to express these verses the way we live our lives. Our lives serves as a testimony to God's word and also our lives a s a blessing to others.

Until now what I remembered the clearest verse is John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believe in him shall not perish but have eternal life". My father have asked me to memorized many, for instance 1 Corinthians 13 but I only remembered that one. This is a key verse of our belief, especially for those beginners in Christ. When my father preaches, he used to quote this verse

Yes thank you for sharing your memorized Bible verses her. Its really important to memorize these verses for in times of need we can use this as shield from the enemy and when we are down or happy or sad we have something to claim as children of God.

Not just a verse but a chapter. My grandmother (mom of my father we usually call "lola") thought me Psalms 23 when I was 5 years old. Even up to now I still memorize it. I am very thankful my lola thought be about the bible. Here in the Philippines, when I was 5, very few catholics know how to open a bible. My lola is a born-again christian partor, that is why she teaches us, her grandchildren verses from the bible and we do bible study too.
