Do you think paxil is a dangerous drug to be on?

I am starting to wonder if it is safe to be taking paxil. I see on tv if you are pregnant you shouldn't take it. I know the Paxil CR I was on turned out to be bad for you...now I am wondering about paxil. Does anybody have any information about it?
