My friend bought an HP Pavilion notebook model dv6130us which comes with a Windows Media Center operating system. It is Vista ready and was recently upgraded to it since she received her Vista OS by mail. The problem is the integrated webcam does not work with Vista even with the latest available driver for it. We chatted with the online support of HP and told us that they are still working with the issue. Does anyone have the same problem?

i havent encountered the same problem yet but i have a friend who has almost the same model with vista OS also but he did not have this problem since vista was already the built in OS. i suggest you try finding a better driver, if you cant, try to wait out for HP to be able to solve your problem. i think the driver is your main problem here, maybe its not yet supported by vista or the correct and complete driver was not yet publiched.
