i don't usually. the reason i post is that someone out there would read my posts. but with dozens of responses already, who will read mine? it seems pointless, since probably your post wont be much different. what about you?

I have many friends that always have like 100 responses, but yet i always try to respond. I personally try to rate and comment everyones responses and have high hopes that others will do the same. It doesn't always turn out that way though.

LOL. I was about to start a similar discussion. We have the same opinion on this. I always become deterred to respond to a discussion that has already like, 100 responses, because I don't think my opinion will matter anymore...Even if the discussion interests me. But sometimes, because I have set a goal here in mylot to post 20 responses per day, I just go ahead and post if I haven't come across any other interesting discussion.

I still respond as long as as the discussions are good but if it's not really, I don't. I agree that it's hard to keep up with your respond if it already has many responses. The owner of the discussion might not even be able to read all of them and comment on the responses.
