Am I unreasonable in my anger when one delegates a certain job to ones subordinates emphasizing the importance of that job and outlining that failure to do the job would cost me to pay some penalties or loose money?
I had experienced this last week wherein I got sick and could barely get out of bed and had to delegate. The timeliness of accomplishing the assigned task on time specified is critical. I would have accepted reasons and forget about the penalties and money that I have to pay, IF ONLY THE REASON that I was given was VALID. Is it valid reason that he just forgot because he is doing something else to pass his time? Ouch! I can't really help hitting the roof!

One really burst into anger if you really expected the job to be done and it come out not.It happens to me sometimes but I manage to control my temper. In your case,I should have the same feelings especially it cost you a lot. That guy must be penalize and must be rebuke for not doing his job well. Sanctions must be impose on him.If a certain job or project needs proper study and critical situation, it must be deal personally and carefully.

The job is something that doesn't require for me to handle them personally since it is something that can be delegated. However, it is something that needs to be done on a specific schedule. He was certainly penalized by not doing such job accordingly and it was a penalty that would really tell him to pay attention to what he is doing all the time. Thanks for responding!
