According to the Bible you cannot eat flesh of animals whose hooves are divided and who does not chew the cud. You cannot eat the flesh of birds who cannot fly. You cannot eat fish who don't have scales. So there are very few things to eat other then chicken and duck. You cannot go to church and pray in the open, and take part in rituals. Now how many adhere to these. Not even priests. But there is a good experiment you can do to find our whether a person follows the Bible or not. Just slap him and see whether he will offer the other cheek.

The word of God is very powerful. It would not be powerful if it contradicts itself. Now, if there are contradictions then, how it came to be known by the whole world as the "best-selling book of all times"? Because most people who don't understand it brought its contradictions. The Bible consist of 2 testaments, the Old (which is written solely for the Jews) and the New (which is applicable to both Jews and non-Jews). I believe in every word of it because it is written with God's approval and inspiration. And since God is a God of truth (Psalm 31:5, Isaiah 65:16) then this is all true. Christians are not perfect being, they displease God in many ways and tempted in many ways to sin, but it still God (through His Holy Spirit) encourage them to continue with their faith. Everytime Christians repented for their sins, God is in His 'open arms' ready to love and bless them again.
