Do you think Kashmir should be an independent state? Do you think the terrorists in Kashmir should giv eup their claim to an independent state because they are causing more harm to the economy of the valley? What do you actually think can be done to make the beautiful valley a spot every tourist would want to be at again?

Kashmnir is logically and geoghraficllay a part of Pakistan. UN had accepted it as a disputed area according to its resolutions when this issue was raised there by Pandit Nehru in 1950's. Only Elections held under ruling of UN can decide about the future of this state but India is denying the facts.

both of u are virtually the same........"it belongs to us" what the heck neither of you is there ....So ur claim is laden with falsehood ...dont u think?

if pakistan was so very concerned about kashmir or the plight of kashmiris they wouldnt have fought 3 huge warscausing destruction to human life and property in the valley
So logically they dont deserve it :)
the same arguement holds tru for indias well
Ah geographically?

theres no soln is what u re sayin i guess
if anything pok n cok are parts of kashmir that are not under indian"rule"
And why should they hand over any "parts" to india if they have it.
why does india deserve to ahve kashmir? Dont say"kashmir is /was part of india" Its like saying "india was part of the british empire"
Anyways if anything all that the 2 governtments/parties involved have done is seen to it that the people in the valley dont prosper .......and none can enjoy the gifts the valley has to offer :)
Do you still "think " u had a soln there?

There is one and only solution, all of kashmir should be with India.
Even in ancient days it was part of Indian rulers.

Where is Kashmir? I think that it should be an independent state because, no one should be able to come in and terrorist and try to control that state. Pray and ask God to deliver you from the hand of your enemy. God Bless

The Kashmir conflict refers to the territorial dispute between the People's Republic of China (China), India, and Pakistan over the northwestern region of the Indian subcontinent. India, which claims the entire erstwhile Dogra Kingdom of Jammu and Kashmir, has control of approximately half the region including most of Jammu, Ladakh, and Siachen Glacier. India's claim is contested by Pakistan which controls a third of Kashmir. The Kashmiri region under Chinese control is known as Aksai Chin. In addition, China also controls the Trans-Karakoram Tract, also known as Shaksam Valley, which was ceded to it by Pakistan in 1963.
India has fought three wars with Pakistan: in 1947, 1965, and 1999 and one with China in 1962 over Kashmir. Since the 1990s, the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir has been hit by confrontation between armed Islamic insurgents and the Armed Forces of India, which has resulted in thousands of deaths.
