Its all over the news or rumors, whatever you can call it at this moment. But, its true that Microsoft has tried to acquire Yahoo in the past too, but has never gone for intensive string of talks.
But, things look ripe now. It is true that Google is the un-disputed King of "Search Engine" & "Search Engine Advertising".
We have read in many news papers that MSN and Yahoo are talkin about a Joing Venture in this direction. I personally think there is more to this, not just a Joint Venture.
Experts are valuing Yahoo at $50 Billion. Now, thats a lot of money. But, not a lot for Microsoft.
MSN is looking at acquiring Yahoo, yes. Its more so after the recent acquisition of "Double-Click" by Google.
Lets see what happens in the future. We just want to have the best services........ and do not want Microsoft to be a bully.........

Really? I have never heard about this before?
Now I am wondering if Microsoft succeeds in acquiring yahoo if that is a good thing or a bad thing.
Whatever happens I sure hope that it will be for the best.

If there is too much aquisition happening we will end up with one company governing the whole thing and dictating terms to everyone else. The service that manages to keep most of its services free will be the winner. I don't want to have to start paying for every little service I use on the net.
