The next book?

I'm just dying to be there when Ayla and Jondalar have children. Does anyone know when the next book is due to be released? Like the newest harry potter, this is one series where I'd actually order and pay full price for the next book when it comes out.

Hi I love this series and have got all the books. What peeves me with this one is it is taking sooooo long for the books to come out. I got the last one where they have kids, The shelters of stone, a few years back. I am anxiously awaiting the new book when they have more kids and Ayla has made a decision to be Zealandoni. I have read these books sooo many times it is not funny. I interchange it with Harry Potter for a bit of variety lol.

I JUST saw in the EC Fans newsletter that the sixth book will be out in March 2011!!! I had read earlier that there were plans for a total of seven book originally, but this said it was the sixth and final in the series.

I can't wait either!!! I have the first 5 in hardback and have re-read the series over and over.....and I'm happy to see that I'm not the only one who goes from Auel to Rowling, lol! (Everytime a new book is set to be released, I re-read the series from the beginning to be fresh! And with the Harry Potter's, there are the movies, so when one of those is set to come out, I read the books up to that point. I know, I know....lol)
