Eyeshadow-What colors should brunettes wear.

I have really dark brown hair and alot of people have told me that brown haired women should wear brown eyeshadow to bring out the color of your eyes more I have tried that and I dont like it on me I also have tried mauves and purples and some greens and blues I liked some of them but none so much that I thought about wearing it more tham a couple of times. Does anyone Know what the Brunettes Signature Eyeshadow Color is, please let me know.
