Depends on what you already have, but the most important parts in a computer these days are:
CPU
Gfx Card
Memory
Ones which require a decent quality as well are:
Mother board
Power supply
The rest doesn't really matter in an average system, also Gfx card is less important if you don't do gaming, but I'd still take one with 256MB memory if possible then.

I am trying to get my computer as good as I can for gaming because I am addicted to world of warcraft (WOW) and my current computer is junk and can't handle WOW.

For handling WoW you don't need much :), so the 256MB Gfx card would be more than sufficient, my notebook has 128MB on the Gfx card, 512DDR and a AMD Turion 1.8Ghz CPU. A pretty old configuration as the thing is about 2 years old already and it is capable of running WoW in full detail at a high resolution without any lag.
