My Own Story of Recovery

Just recently I suffered from choking on a fish sandwich. I suppose it was a delicious sandwich, rich in omega 3s, and on healthy whole grain bread as well. However, I have a habit of eating and communicating at the same time, and quickly became distracted during my eating by a humorous anecdote. The fish sandwich became lodged in my throat and I struggled to correct its trajectory down to proper channel. I recovered, but because my insurance would not cover this, and they only pay out if I remain a full-time student with above a 3.0GPA, I was unable to receive medical assistance and had to suffer through this trial on my own. I want to let it be known that choking on a fish sandwich is a serious problem in our time, and that while we enjoy delicious and nutritious foods, we should take the time to chew and enjoy. Our time is short on this planet.

Though it is regarded as the best medicine by some, laughter is indeed a double-edged sword...
