Prescription abuse

Recently i have seen prescription abuse increase in the high school society today, well I would know well because i am a sixteen year old currently finishing my sophomore year. Well Ive seen teens taking and selling many pills,tablets, etc. and it bothers me. As my status quotas I promised not to snitch/rat on anyone because it is their way and they choose to take the risks. Well the most common pills i see are xanax, adderrall, tylenol and other pain killers, steroids, and even other newer ones that have made it into the hands of our adolescents. When I ask the addicts what they like about the stuff i get a lot of opinions like a girl saying she wants to lose wieght off of adderrall, a boy tells me he loves the lightheadiness he gets from xanax, and the scariest opinion from a boy saying he completely just doesnt know. Well what do you guys think about prescription drug abuse? Does it bother you or not? Have you taken it before?
