l see it as a cultural thing, How does your culture see it? In my culture its a man's duty to woo a girl, and if a girl takes up that, she's seen as being so cheap. However some educated and enlightened ones wont mind. But if you must tell him, tread softly, you shouldnt be too open. Once bitten twice shy.

There is certainly no good reason you can't 'court' a man! I think it would be refreshing for the man in question to know that you are honest and caring enough about him to let him know how you feel, without the usual coy games so many women play. Good Luck.
