I have two grown children and seven grandchildren. I will be spending the day with some of my grandchildren, nieces and a nephew and my sisters. My daughter and I do not live in the same state, she will be celebrating Mother's Day with her children. My son has not let me know what he is doing as of yet, but I am sure he will be with me for at least part of the day. What are you doing for Mother's Day? Who are you spending Mother's Day with? "Happy Mother's Day" to you all...

I'll be over at my mother's. She in a senior living center so I'll be taking her over to the diningroom for dinner. I expect that my brother will be there as well. I don't know if it'll be at noon or supper time, I guess I need to talk to my brother about that.

"Happy Mother's Day!" I hope that you and your brother have a wonderful day with your Mother. Does she like living in the Senior Center and does she have lots of friends there? I bet that she will be so happy to have her children visit and spend such a special day with her. Enjoy the time with Mom, and thank you for responding. Take care...

This is a really fine place and, yes, she does have a lot of friends there. I go over 3 times a week & my brother takes her to church on Sundays & drops by when he's in the area. I'll tell you, they know that if the staff doesn't treat most of the people there good, they will be in trouble. This isn't a medicaide financed nursing home, this is an upper scale place attached to an independent living condo building & people come over to see their friends all the time.

I hope you had a wonderful Mother's Day!!! We celebrated Mother's Day one day early. My husband and son took me to a huge indoor/outdoor flea market. It's one of my favorite things to do in the Springtime. I know it's not my husbands or sons favorite thing, but they did it for me so we could all be together. We also went out to lunch together. My daughter lives in another state, but she did call me twice on Mother's Day. It's always good to hear her voice.

Hopefully to myself; I have my mom and kids close by; matter of fact, we all live together; I promised Mom the Roots dvd, so she know the score. then, I am not counting for my kids to have anything. If I can have some peace and quiet because that will be my off day, then I am satisfied.
