Why is the United States so backwards with evolution?

The reason is that the quality of education is not up to the standards of the rest of the world. If you check the statistics you will find that maths is also another week point.

Well I can't speak for anyone but myself. I agree with the concept of evolution, but I don't agree with most of the details that go along with Darwin's theory. Through my own research and from what I was taught in my biology class, Darwin's theory was highly inaccurate.
