Which cell phone company do you use? Are you happy with them and would you recommend the company? My contract is up next week with my cell phone company. I have Cingular, I had a 2 year contract and am not sure if I want to renew with them or if I would be better going with someone else. There are many times I get dropped calls, even though Cingular advertises that they have the least amount of dropped calls.
I need a plan where I can have 4 phones. My husband and I each have a cell phone and so do both of our kids. I need to have text messaging on one of the phones.

I have T-Mobile and we have 3 lines. We all share minutes and they have many packages available for families and texting, etc. We don't text, so that's not an issue for us. they have been pretty reliable. I'm not saying there is 0 dropped calls, but they are pretty good, and I live in a small town.

I forgot to tell you about the free mobile to mobile too. All calls to and from T-Mobile customers are free. Not taken away from your minute count.

Well I have Sprint and we have had it about 6 years or so. So far I have no complaints. We also have 5 phones so it can do your 4 phones. Customer service hasn't been bad except for at one store we went to to get a new phone for my brother since he broke his. I don't have lost calls and it works great.

well, cingular is now att here and they have unlimited text, but i dropped cingular b/c metro pcs is in my area and for 50 dollars a mo. i have unlimited anytime minutes and unlimited text and they have good reception but the areas are limited, they r not everywhere, but i don't go anywhere and where i do go they have metro. but i don't know if it's in ur area, they don't really have good family plans it's just if u add an extra line u pay 30 a mo. for those extra lines. so it'd be like 140 a mo.

We ended up staying with Cingular, who is now AT & T. We checked other companies and couldn't find anyone with a better price. Plus we have TONS of rollover minutes that we didn't want to lose. We did get new phones that came free when we signed a new 2 year contract.

Hi daycarepal, every company has it's good points and bad points. I am with Sprint, customer service stinks but I never have dropped calls and everywhere I travel within the US I always have service on their network. My brother has T-Mobile and has a family plan with 4 phones and he is pleased with them. If I ever leave Sprint after my contract, I would go to T-Mobile. I find their rates cheaper that Sprint.

We have had Verizon for years and frankly it has the best service of all the ones we have tried. We also have four phones on the plan and there is no charge for calls within the network. We have a family plan and you can also get unlimited text messaging within the network as well now. I also like their service department for the most part.

I have T-Mobile and suggest you go with them. Every time I have shopped around for rate near the end of our contract they have had the best rates. I have never had a dropped call with them and they normally have the best customer service (per JD Power). T-Mobile has the best deal that I have found for texting and since they have added the friends plan (or whatever it is called) I barely touch my minutes.
My parents have Cingular - nor - AT&T - and since AT&T bought Cingular out, they have been having problems with the service. I was also told by someone who works in the cellular industry that AT&T may be taking some of the Cingular towers down to add more AT&T towers. Currently AT&T and CIngulars service do not run on the same towers.

I had really good service when I was with cellular One. I never had dropped calls and could use my phone anywhere. They then sold my account to AT&T. I was very disappointed with them I had a lot of dropped calls and the reception was not very good. Verizon has the best network so you can use the phone just about anywhere. But their prices seem to be the highest for all the networks. Just about any cell phone company well have dropped calls. Especially if you are using it in a vehicle which I hope you are not. Also a lot of big stores, because of the florescent lights, you can get bad reception also. Also just about all the networks offer a family plan which well save you a lot of money over individual plans. But try to get one that has unlimited calling because those minutes really add up. Even more so if you have teenagers.

I am with Bluegrass Cellular but it's a local company.
I'm pretty satisfied with them. Sometimes they have their moments but I rarely loose a call. I've had them for about five years now. I might have changed companies but they have the best long distance plans for our area. I was going to switch to Verizon who seem to be pretty good but they don't have coverage here for some reason. They do not an hour from where I live.
I hope you had a successful search in finding the right company :)

Hello!
I have been with T-Mobile since 1999 and have had very good service with them. We have four phones on our family plan and it works well for us. We also have text messaging and ability to send pictures. We really like T-Mobile.

We just use a trac-fone for now as ours are for emergency use. We see no point in paying a monthly bill when we don't use the phones very often.
If I had a choice though, I have heard good things about Sprint. They seem high priced to me, but it also depends on what kind of package you get.

I have cricKet. I like it so far, it's a SLVR, and it takes great pictures and video. I also have web access, and it runs me about $60 a month for all of it. And there's no contract, so if I choose to switch, I just have to stop paying.

I have Sprint PCS. I know they have a lot of different optional plans. You should contact them about the family plan. I live in an area that only has two cell phone company choices. What I have liked about Sprint is that I cannot recall ever having a dropped phone call and the service is pretty much nation wide. Anywhere that Sprint has services. Also, Sprint to Sprint calls don't count on my minutes. I have been with Sprint for four years and I am happy with it.

we had alltell for a short time, we did not care much for it at the time. we only paid a month to month basis so thankfully we were not tied into a contract with them.
we rarely need to call from elsewhere with a cell but do like the security of being able to should the need arise.
Tracfone really has been ideal for our needs.

My fiance and I have our phones through Sprint, and we've had pretty good service with them. They will want you to sign a 2 year contract, but I know that it is fairly easy to have multiple phones on one contract, if you have good credit. The phones can share minutes, and it's pretty inexpensive to have text messaging on one phone (I get 500 text messages a month for about $5, and I have never come close to using even half of those!).
