Finally, I have changed my avatar into something more personal

498 posts ago, I have represented myself with a bouncy heart that I really like. Now that I've reached my 500th post, I decided to change my avatar into something that represents the real me as I've grown comfortable in this community. How about you? Would you change your avatar into something more personal like a picture of yourself or will you choose to stick to an image that represents you?

Well I think that's nice change. Personally, I dont have the guts to use my personal pic as an avatar. I dont know why but I really am not comfortable of doing that. I am at ease with my Spongebob avatar though I think it's a little childish to use this cartoon GIF for my age.. LOL

I guess it's not for everybody. I wasn't comfortable too before, but I had a change of heart today. Anyways, as they say change is the only constant thing in this world. Maybe given more time, you'll be okay with using your own picture as well. :)

Maybe you're right. Things really change and that may include my avatar preferences, but as far as these days are concerned, staying with this Spongebob avatar is my choice.. LOL Maybe in my 1000th post, I'd decide on that. B-)

Hello,steney, you had already passed the 500 benchmark and you are now a full member in mylot,you can upload image to replies and earn more,congratulations. I will not change my personal avatar at the moment,may be if i take some new photos,i will think about it.

Thanks! The change came with the great feeling of reaching my 500th post. Hmmm, I wonder what will I do on my 1,000th? Anyways, your avatar is cute as it is so no need to rush and change it. Thanks for responding. :)

My avatar is really a picture of myself because I am comfortable in this community. At first, I didn't also have any avatar because I wasn't sure but after a short while I just knew that this is a good community so I posted one that is indeed very personal.

That's exactly how I felt, hence the brand new change. I'd also like the idea of letting my friends know a little more of me somehow. :)

The first time I knew about mylot and signed up here, I already used my personal avatar. Not this one I have now but another but still my own picture. Yes, we are comfortable for we can show the whole world our cute little faces he he! XP
