I have to get some real opinions. Can you help me?? I heard the Lap Band could be adjusted and thereby is the best. But in my opinion,I don't want multiple procedures. I have done some resaerch and I will present it to you, if needed. I want to take a sample surey. If you have one of these procedures, then tell me what happened. If you want to hve the procedure, tell me which one. If you are not affected by obesity but want to give advice, please do.

Although I'm an excellent candidate for either of those procedures, I've not had it done...yet. I think it's fear that keeps me from going through the surgery and all the psych evaluations and such. I did look into the Gastric Bypass surgery quite thorougly, in fact, I even went so far as to call a nearby clinic and get their brochure and video...but I just can't do it. I've heard some horror stories, of course, as you do with most surgeries, but I don't think I'm committed to losing weight enough to take such a huge step! So far I've been trying a new "lifestyle" and I've lost about 20 pounds, but that's with portion control and eliminating soda and other sugary goodies (that I just happen to love oh so much!), but don't get me wrong it's taken me about 3 months to get this far. I have a very long road ahead of me and I know it. I wish you the best of luck with whatever manner of losing weight you choose! :)
