Did your cat choose you to live with, or did you choose him/her?

Really most of mine chose us! Sassy was born under my front porch and one day decided she wanted to live in the house and came inside. Never went out again. Nor was a sick and skinny alley cat and about 2 months old when he walked onto the porch, wrapped his body lovingly around my husband's ankle, and into the house when I opened the door to come out. Never been outside since. Morgana appeared in the middle of a freezing night, meowing thru my front window, sitting on the front porch furniture. She jumped into my arms when I went out to get her as if saying "I'm hooommme!". She was about 4 months old and never looked back. Guess the word is out - "Softies live at this house!"

most of my cats have found me.and the oddest thing is,when one passes away,almost within days,a new waif shows up at my door. almost like they were sent ;)

I think that the cat chooses her owner.I met my last cat at the street. I have seen many street cats without to take them at home/ even i allways enjoy them a lot/. But this one looked at me with his big green eyes and i was mesmerized:-)
