Did you see the story in the news the other day about how our courts are not standing behind our troops and pre-dipitioned court orders. I've tried to let this pass telling myself that its happening everywhere so its nothing new, but when I read this it really disturbed me. Basically it said that no matter what the courts had pre-dicidided if a military person went off to serve our country that the spouse at home could then go back thru the courts and have everything changed pertaining to the kids. It doesn't matter want you both agree'd to or the courts decide was best for the kids, the minute you went off to serve our country now you are,nt in the best interest of the children. What alot of bull is that.. The courts, and you decided how things should and will go down for the best interest of the kids until your called and then your not in the best interest anymore. Boy am I mad.. I thought number one the court jurisdiction was upheld no matter what, but I also thought that you shouldn't lose your rights for serving your country. The government says it has to up-hold the individual state courts. Who is up-holding our men & wemons rights while they are getting hurt and mamined. I am so mad I couldn't not voice my discuss on this. These mom & dads come home after serving their duty to find that their ex-spouse or spouse has done all this while they were away and all they got was a letter telling them what was going to happen and they are not let off duty to go fight for their rights on our home frint, instead they have to stay on the lines and take it on the chin. When they come home they have lost more then a arm or leg, they have lost their children. Where is our military when our military needs them? Where is our government? Where is the right or wrong? Where is "Justice"? Tammy

As it has been so long since I was a military wife I guess this must have slipped past me as I had never heard fo these new "rules". That is so terrible I cannot believe it. We should be ashamed that we have allowed our laws to do this to our miliary men and women.

I know when I read it it made me so sad and angry. Jes they go to fight for us and come home to have lost the most inportant people they were serving for in the first place. I just can't believe that they can be treated that way. Tammy

Tammy, that really bugs me too. These men and women in the military are giving of their lives to fight for our freedom and to protect us and this is how we thank them. It is a shame!!! My daddy was a veteran, and I do see how everyone has treated our veterans. We need to hold them up with all the respecdt in the world for them giving of themselves and putting their personal lives on hold for each one of us.

Just about every man in my life is a vetern from some war and I'm so thankful they weren't treated this way. How disrespectful can our courts be to our men and women that serve our country. I want to protest but don't know how or to who. So I'll just keep spreading the word about how un-just I think this is.. Tammy
