LIP GLOSS or LIP STICK...? Girls which you prefer most of the time..?

i have seen most of girls are prefering lip gloss rather than lipstcik, whats the reason for this? which one you prefer...?

I use lipstick with lighter shades .. because I look sober in lighter shades .. Earlier I used darker shades on my lips .. but many persons told me that it won't look good all the time .. so I started using lighter shades and it really looks good on me .. Regarding lip gloss .. I don't use it at all though I used it 2 - 3 times but was not able to achieve the look which I get through lipstick easily:)

Hi, federickp. I have a lot of lip glosses, but the lip sticks I don't have pretty much. The reason is it's difficult for me to choose a right lip stick, I don't know the reason,but most of times the colors turned out too dark for me. I don't want have the heavy color. While the lipglosses give me plenty of choice to choose from. So, I like lip glosses more.

hi sabwinner, i also think the same way, lip sticks are more dark! You are amonst hundereds with same reason and gloss also looks somewhat shiny isnt it?

I prefer lip gloss. Lipstick is usually too bold and too matte for me to wear on a daily basis. I really like CLinique lipgloss in the color sunshine. It only has a little bit of color to it, but it is shiny and glossy and lasts a while before rubbing off. And it's not sticky which is always annoying lip gloss is.

Hi there! I prefer wearing lip gloss than lipstick especially when I am not going anywhere that calls for a lipstick. If I am staying at home, or picking up something in the grocery or just hanging out at the mall, I like wearing lip gloss. I only wear lipstick when I am going to parties or any formal gathering. Or when there will be lots of picture taking just so my lips will have some color.

It all depends where i am going; if i am going in a party, where i have to eat and drink then i prefer lipstick since it is more long lasting than lipgloss...
And if i am just going out casually, for shopping, then i wear lipgloss.
But frankly i prefer lipstick than lipgloss cos sometimes lipgloss are sticky and if ever someone is taking a photo the flash makes my lips too shiny and i really hate that!
