my family loves tofu, but its expnsive here in our place. it's like only those who are fortunate enough can eat it. but still i'll try that my family can have it in a week.it is agreat source of high quality protein.also a good source of vit B and iron.instead of giving my kid synthetic vits in the market, i give him tofu. those who love tofu, mind if you can give me more recipes on it?

i love tofu! its tasty and goes well with a wide variety of dishes ranging from vegetables to fish and soup! and you are very correct it is rich in vitamins and minerals, and not only that its a rich natural source of proteim, and young kids who take lots of tofu will grow up to be strong and healthy

I like tofu if it's cooked right. I don't really know how to make it at home - but when I go out to a vegetarian restuarant or Thai restaurant I always order my meal with tofu. It's very good.

i love soft tofu added in our soup either pork or beef with potato, celery, cabbage and parsley or great also with mixed vegetable in schezuan sauce. sometimes i add fried tofu in our crispy noodles as garnish with the sauce or even in the steamed soy sauce fish. i can even have tofu also in my baked meatballs with cheese then served with white rice and vegetable salad - so perfect!

Hi Flagella, I also love tofu, and it is not very expensive here in Germany. We have a lot of Asian shops and they are selling quite cheap (1 Euro a big piece of tofu). I even described on a new discussion how I cook it and it is really delicious:)
