What time do you get up in the morning? DO you like to rise and shine and get the worm? Or do you like to linger bewtween the sheets for that extra 5 minutes of sleep?I hate mornings. Mornings are so hard for me a require a shower, a lot of coffee, and some time to myself. I will stay in my bed until I absolutly have to get out of it. Even then i stay in pajamas for a long time.
I usually get up between 7 and 8 in the morning depending on when my toddler gets up. She is a morning person. She wakes up and just starts talking and siging and dancing. I wish I was a bit more like her.

oh i am such a morning person. i like to just get the day going. i do better, and get more done in the morning, then i realx later. my mind is more fresh or something i dunno. i mean i'm not up singing and dancing, but i can't stay in bed either. i can go back and take a nap later if my body tells me so, but nope, i'm up first thing otherwise. love the morning air outside, so clean and fresh. i always wake up and open the window and take a deep breath of fresh air first thing.

I try so hard to be like you. I know that I am more productive through out the day if I just get up and get in the shower and start my day. But it is so hard to tear me out of those warm sheets in the morning. Any advice? LOL

gosh, i really don't think i have advice. i've always kinda been that way. although i stay at home now, so of course it's easier to get out of bed when you don't have to go to work, ha, and my boy is only 3, so no school yet. and my hubby is now working 2nd shift, so he doesn't have to get up so early, and he'll go to bed at 3am, and still be up by 7, but when he had to be at work in the mornings, he wouldn't get up, and he'd be soooo slow getting ready, and it's not like he had to be pretty for work, no suits, no showers (he showers after work) doesn't even brush his hair (bald), so i never understood, it's like, "what in the world is taking you soooo long?". but also when i worked, i knew i had to get outta there by a certain time, and getting to work late is a pet peeve of mine, so i rushed us all out of the house. so when i wasn't up rushing everyone it made it worse for my hubby. he needs a swift kick in the butt. however on weekends he'd be up way early. i think he just hates alarms 'demanding' he wake up. i just knew what was coming each day, so i was up, no questions asked. now i just naturally wake up. i know, don't hate me. but i'm grumpy throughout the day if i wake up at 9am. all i can tell you is to maybe ready yourself the night before. set stuff by the door, like purses, briefcases, backpacks, anything...and think about what you're going to wear the night before, have everyone's lunches already made. then when you get up you know what you have to do, and can just grab everything else in a robotic manner as you're walking out the door, plus you may be albe to sleep in for an extra 15 minutes if you get some stuff ready the night before.

I wish I had the energy of small children. Even just some of the energy that these kids can harness would be great :D
