How can you tell if the work from home or business online are not a scam?

Are there certain things I should look for to see if the deal is real or a con?

Yes, you can find out in some cases when you read their terms. They will mention something that means that we will never be paid but at the same time they will mention in their FAQ that they will pay within few days time. Read the terms carefully to check if the site is a scam or not. You can also check with other people if anybody is already a member of that site. There are many ways to check. This is only one way I have mentioned. Regards

If only we knew right away who really pays, then it would be very easy to earn. Bu the truth is, no one is ever sure if a site will pay in the long run. Some pays at the beginning, and then later when a lot of members are consistently patronizing it, it just closes down. Although I consider recommendations from my friends on sites that really pay, I also do a little evaluation of a site's program and see if it's realistic enough to sustain its existence and pay its members. Try to read their terms and always check the fine print. I'm one of those who fell for Dormcheck, I had almost $8 there when they stopped paying through e-gold and eventually stopped paying everyone. And all the while I thought it was a good program as the admin is there all the time interacting with the members. The rule of thumb is not to invest money to any program, so in case it shuts down, no money on your part will be lost, only the efforts you put into it. And be sure to spread the word so that others will be spared from falling into the same trap again. Well, we all take the risk and it's from our mistakes that we learn how to be careful next time.
