Life is like a box of chocolate,.. you never know what you're gonna get. As far as money making you really happy.. I'm not knocking what you believe.. I just think there's a lot more to life than money. I think once you've reached 25 - 30 years I'm sure you'll think differently.

I believe making money is a part of living happy life. Our final goal is to have a happy life, and making money is one of the ways to make it come true. If we have more money, we could be much happier. If we don't, we can be happy as well. So,both of them are important, and having a happy life is much more important.

I ultimately think what I was really trying to say, was that money is important but, life and all the good things that come for free.. are even greater to have.

I think that attaining balance is mostimportant for all aspects of life. I do dislike spending a disproportionate amount of time at work to make money, but I try to get in as much 'quality time' with my family to make up for it.
It would be wonderful to work less and enjoy more time with my daughter while she's little, but I like to live in a nice neighbourhood and have a car etc. Cutting back that far in financial terms would probably detract from the quality of my 'home time'.

Hello, jazzfrazz,i have not seen you for long time, hope you will be fine.
I will be happy to live in a simple life,i may not need to be very rich, as long as i can pay the bill and have a little bit extra for saving,i will be happy.
I always think being rich does not mean happiness and i stress on being happy in my life rather than being rich.
Good luck.

Life may be unhappy due to several causes like-illness,poor health conditions, mental and internal dissatisfaaction ,lack of money etc. So,ones first aim must be to live happily by keeping positive thoughts, doing exercises, maintaining your esteem and above all being a good human being.Making money also makes happy, but above mintioned factors ought to be there in ones life.
If a collective and harmonious lifestyle where there is a peace of mind and heart and all mentioned things can be observed, one can be said ideally happy.

Being happy is far more important and if I had enough money to cover the bills every month and help my family out, I would be really happy.

That's true. I have three healthy daughters and three healthy grandsons, that's worth more to me than money.

I would think that being happy doing what you love would be more important. However, I would love to do that but be compensated well at the same time. There are those out there that do get both. They get paid very well and do what they love. That is a goal that I try for. Excellent question by the way.

Hey Siren,
I thought it would be, it was inspired by an argument I had with a sibling. We couldn't agree on a few things... If you have sibs' you'll know how that goes!

Money is just a side line, and worth nothing without love, and happiness. On the other hand, a lot more money could make me enjoy living life a lot more. I am quibbling, aren't I. I want to take the time to live.

By far living life and being happy. Money only gives you options it will never make you happy. Imagine being a billionaire and living alone on an island. You might as well have been shipwrecked.
Money will allow you to live your life and be happy in a bigger cirle and that is about all it's good for.

hmm... that's an easy one..
I guess I could start by answering the question, Am I happy? Yes, I am.
Do I have money? Well, I'm broke most of the time, but I'm still happy.
Would I like some more money? Of course I would, but I would never wanna sacrifice my happiness for it.
I think what most people forget is to take joys in the little things of life, they spend their whole life pursuing material things and in the process, forget what is more important, people that they love.
Of course, I'm no saint. I, too, have dreams of becoming rich and famous, like many do, but I don't disrupt my present life, for something i might or might not have in future.

Living life and being happy are definitely more important to me than making money. Yeah, money is nice, but if I didn't enjoy my life, family, friends, etc, and I wasn't happy, then the money wouldn't be very fun or useful.

Living life and being happy. I find that the more I worry about how much money I make, the less happy I am.

Definitely living life and being happy. It is very important to be happy in life but sometimes you need money to make this happiness true. So it is equally important to make more money too.

Living life and happy. coz we say a happy life, it caters life's needs fulfillment. Doesnt matter if i have lots of money or dont have as long as I am happy.
I'll put making money on second priority because it's just a part of living a life happy.

This is a very interesting response. Why, explain?
Let's say you have all the money in the world. Would you really be happy?
