I live in Hong Kong. I always want to know what foreigners think about Hong Kong.
Have you come to Hong Kong?
What do you think about the city?
How do you think about the people living here?
Do you find them different or more or less the same with the people living in Mainland China?
Just tell me what you think. Whether it's positive or negative.

I have been from Mainland China, in Hongkong i just passby since my plane ticket has stop over in Hongkong. I think Hongkong is much better compared to China when it comes to cleanlines, orderliness and language. Mainland china is still on developing stage and continue educating the people when it comes to cleanliness. I've seen a lot of people here in china spitting everywhere, public comfort rooms were uncomfortable, lack of discipline when it comes to traffic rules (that's why everyday i've seen two to three cars or trucks bumping each other). IN using public transportation, i feel uncomfortable too, as all the people were pushing each other just to take the seat even they have an appointed seat number. ANd one more worse thing is, i don't know if they know the value of public service, I am riding public transportation say bus and taxi, most of the time i encountered taxi drivers who are always yelling at me..and insist what they know about where are you going instead of following what you direct him were he should bring you. OMG! I think China has a still far way to go and hopefully soon will be better.

Hong Kong is a nice place where I visit almost every year. HK is a shopping paradise. Eating is fantastic. Honestly, the sales personnel had improved tremedously over the years. 10 years ago . . . . some of them quite rude. Now, thumbs up. Hong Kong is a busy place where everyone is busy busy and busy. Nevertheless, the people is pretty nice.
I do remember several occasion where one of friend felt sick and faint at the pedestrian crossing. We have to help her to the sidewalk. Numerous of passerby offer us oilment, drinks and help. We are very touch.
And, the passenger on the public transport (Bus) offer his seats to me when I am expecting. I was very grateful.
Great place.

I had been to both China and Hong Kong and I found that the life styles of people are very different in these two places. The traffics in China are more congested than that in Hong Kong. The services provided in Hong Kong are far better and more efficient.

I have visited both and lived in Hong Kong for a few years. I loved Hong Kong the best! I think it is a wonderful place, and so unique because it has a sitinct culture, quite different than mainland China or any other place in Asia! I do think English is of course spoken more in Hong Kong (due to being British colony in the past)... and also, I see Hong Kong has a mix of culture. Still mostly Chinese, but with an interesting influence from the British. It is a beautiful city with so much to do and see, no matter your interest.
I have to say, though, that I DO think mainland Chinese language sounds better to me... :op
But I would love to visit Hong Kong again. Fabulous cityz
