How many languages you can speak?

can you tell me how many languages you can speak or at least understnd the meaning if somebody uses that languge before you ?

I know 5 languages.. but i can speak some 3 languages very well.. other two are kinda ok only.. i can understand them and rply but doesnt know properly..:P

Very good. Learning laguage is a great thing. I am using the DTH connection of India govt for viewing TV where we can see channels of all major languages in India. I frequently tunes the channel of other states so that I can have some knowledge about the languages used by that state. You can also try this.

hmmm.... Since i join in mYlot that's topic always repeated, any way i still want respond your topic. I can speak only 2 language first Indonesian language and second English language.

If you look around, you can see that there is every where repeatation exists. Winter, summer, etc are coming every year and we love to see change every time. Thank you for the response

I speak Indonesian of course and English. Not very fluent though. But it is enough for me to join the discussion here on mylot;P Just two languages for now.

fluency in any subject is not important. If you can convey the idea you want to express, that will be more than enough. Thank you

i know four languages tamil,eng,mal,hindi,.learnig as many languges is a real asset ,learning a language mean you will be able to know the culture of that people and about that people more.

I can only speak English fluently, but I have studied French, German, Latin, and Old English. I can say and understand a few words in French and German, but no one really speaks Latin or Old English anymore.

I can speak and undersatnd very well english, french and creole ( Language used in mauritius) and also i know hindi; i can watch hindi movies and i can understand everything but i cant speak it fluently... so in all i know 4 languages!!! and wat about you?

Thank you for your comment. As far as I am concerned, my regional languge is Malayalam and I can understand tamil and a little telugu. Of course I can understand English and my national language Hindi. Sanskrit was a subject I learnt in School and I read books in Sanskrit.

I can speak three languages. First is my native dialect Tagalog, then my second language is English and my third is Korean, although not fluently, only the basics.

Besides my mother tongue , Malayalam, I can speak , read and write Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Telugu and of course my favorite language ENGLISH.
