Ipod, do you have one?

Ipods are very popular here. Nearly all my friends have one.
Do you have an Ipod yourself? If so, why did you buy this particular mp3 player and not just an other. And what Ipod do you have?
If you don't have an Ipod; Will you buy one in the future? Or why not?
I got a 30 gb video Ipod myself, see picture below.

i wish i had an ipod..lol. i take the train everyday to work and sometimes it would be nice to listen to some music. i would love to have an ipod nano, been thinking of getting it for a looooong time, but i still have yet to do so. ipod's are very costly where i live so i cannot afford it T_T ..perhaps someday..

i'm live in malaysia. the ipod nano in pink (4gb) which i'd love to get, cost RM939 here. it cost almost a thousand (in our currency of course), so that's why i'm not able to afford it. too expensive T_T

I have a black 60 gig video iPod that I bought last year. I bought it because I had some extra spending money, and a friend let me use his iPod one day, and I really liked it! I like using iTunes on my computer, so it made sence for me to have something that was easily compatible with that program.

I have a black 30gb zune player I was going to get an ipod at the time I got the zune player but the lady at the front end reccomended the zune player cause it was better then the ipod but I have no complaints with it I enjoy it a lot and I like it better then the ipod cause the screen is bigger wich is better only thing I dont like is that the battery life is about 5 to 6 hours long how long is the ipods battery life.

iPods last about 14 hours, if you don't use the backlight. I have to say, if I watch a video on it, I have to recharge my iPod in like 2 hours. I don't watch many video's on it, sometimes just short videopodcasts.

The main reason i chose ipod was because of the space and the slick design and I dont regret it a bit. :D
I cant go anywhere without my ipod.

i have the 80 GB iPod and an iPod Nano. The Nano was a birthday gift fromt he band AFI and the 80 GB one was a purchase i made myself. i wanted the 80 GB becuase i go all out when i make major purchases and usually get the biggest anf best i can get. i already had the Nano from AFI, but it didn't hold my entire music library and i couldn't put video on it. Th 80 GB is more room than i really need, but that just means i can constantly add on to it as bands i like produce more music or i obtain more CDs or even download. i can also put any videos i want on there. i have about 50 videos on there currrently and 1700 songs. It isn't even 1/5 full.

That's nice. I got a 30gb one myself, it's 2/3 full I think, I have like 2000 songs on it and a few videopodcasts. I don't think I will buy a new one if it's full, I'll just delete some music.
How much did you pay for your 80 gb iPod?

I have a 1st generation iPod Shuffle and a 4 GB 2nd generation iPod Nano. I bought the iPod Nano because I wasn't able to fit alot of music onto my Shuffle. Also, I wanted to be able to play any song I want and see what song was playing on the screen. I love my iPods because I can listen to them on road trips and while I'm sleeping.
