I don't think it is a bad thing either. When I was pregnant with my daughter I spent alot of time sleeping on the couch because I was unable to get comfortable and I didn't want to disturb my husband by tossing and turning all night. But me personally I wouldn't sleep in a seperate bed in normal conditions. I feel safe when I have my husband next to me. There are nice that he will go out shrimping and not get home until morning and on those nights I hardly sleep because he not in the bed next to me.

Yes, actually I have a body pillow that I sleep with for support. It helps a little but nothing could replace having my husband in the bed next to me.

I couldn't imagine not sleeping in the same bed as my wife. I just like having her close even if we aren't touching it's just comforting to know that she is there beside me.

I took my dad to his family Dr yesterday morning. (Monday) Things are looking a lot better but still not totally good for his age. He had an EKG and his heart still shows a slight irregularity in it's rate. So now he is going to monitored closer. He has to see the Dr once a month. Today he had bloood tests done for cholesterol, sugar, and thyroid. I'll know those results tomorrow or Thursday. So all in all he is looking good and feeling good. I have to say though the Drs clinic has a lot of halls and between him walking from the car into the clinic then to the check up room to the lab then back to the check up room then to the car he got a months worth of exercise yesterday alone. He did the same today. Yesterday after the Drs appointment he slept on and off all day. Hahaha. That made my day really easy. I'd also at this time once again thank all friends and other members for the caring comments etc in the past few weeks regarding my father. it meant so much to me to see this kind of support etc from total strangers. Thanks one and all. You all deserve a special award but I'm all out of gold stars. hahaha.
HAPPY POSTINGS FROM HGRANDPA BOB !!~

To be honest I would feel a bit uncomfortable if my partner wasn't next to me in bed. I don't like being alone, and sleep better when he is right next to me

Tru it does help but I know some that because of bad hips or legs sometimes they end up sleeping separate for when the pain hit they have to be able to spread out and lay a certain way and I understand that. A person needs to be comfy to get good rest.

I prefer sharing a bed with my husband. He used to work out of town during the week and I slept alone. Now I am so happy that he is home every night. The snoring and the bed hogging doesnt matter. I love that the last thing I hear every night is I love you and God bless you my angel. I never want that to stop.

I hear you on that it is a good sound and it is comforting. I know I had an aunt and uncle who slept in same room but separate beds, now my grandparents slept in sparate rooms. They always told each other goodnight and they loved each other. My grandmother snored and well my grandfather had some health problems. I dont see anything wrong with it dont mean that you love each other less. Course now like I said they did have their moments I know one day I came back to early from riding my bike and well I rode a little longer.

we sleep in the same bed. Unless one of us is SOOOO sick, we don't want to disturb the other one, but that rarely happens. And one of our rules of arguments in our house, is that I am NOT ALLOWED to sleep in a different bed when I am mad at him. So that's our rule, that we always sleep together.

I just want to share that I have a friend who's in this kind of situation. Well, the guy was infected with a virus but thanked God it's curable. This will only take a month and sad to say that they have to sleep in different bedrooms. However, nothing has changed between them. The love is still burnin =)
