can anyone tell me ready to use website?

Hi mylotians, I have a little knowledge about how to design a website on my own. But many of my friends say that its' better for one to have ones' own website to do the affliate marketing, adsense, adwords etc. Is it so. Becoz they say it will help one in placing the ads, processing, etal in a easier fashion. Without possessing the knowledge how can persons like me do this kind of adsense, adwords etc?
