While I was visiting my home town last month I saw a guy I went to high school with. An old acquaintance of mine also that I use to work with. Any way when I saw him I just had to laugh because I thought to myself
"stuck in the seventies!" He hasn't changed a bit except for his face looks a little older. He has the same hair stlye and still dresses the same way.
He even drives a 1971 classic car! I thought this was so funny how some people never change and some get stuck in a certain era. I mean there's nothing wrong with it and I'm not knocking him it just brought a smile to my face.
Do you know anyone stuck in an era? Perhaps you have the same style you had for years? I know I do.
But I think I am stuck in the 90's. LOL!

I am not stuck anywhere, nor do I know anyone else that is stuck that way. However, I do seem to get stuck emotionally at times, if I see an old friend or listen to olddies.

Oh yes, you have to smile at those people. What does drive me crazy is the hair. There is this woman at work who has the long down to mid back, straight style hair. The kind that looks like it hasn't been brushed or washed in days. And I think, my goodness, she could be an attractive women if she just did something with that hair! If she wants to keep it 70's long, that's fine. But at least don't keep it looking like you just got home from Woodstock!

I know a few people who are still stuck in that era with the way they act and dress. They are still doing the crazy things they used to do way back when. I guess they are very used to being in that day and age and they do not want to come to grip with the way things are now and have changed. Some of their values is okay but alot of them are very outdated, laugh out loud.

Yeh I think for this guy he had his heartbroken when his wife left him with their kids. Maybe he's still hoping that she will fall back in love with him if he stayed the same way as when they fell in love. Thats my philosophy anyway LOL!

Ya, even i am the same. Actually there is some changes as i become matured and matured, but the likings and characters remain the same. Few people maintain such things just because they have some memories hidden with it and few others just because they like it. Anyway, i belong to the second category but in few cases i switch over to the first one :).
