Do you think cats like having a bath?

No they dont like it and they dont need to have a bath. Ive never bathed mine. They use their tongues to clean themselves, if you wash them they will lose the natural oils in their coat which they need for insulation.

hi there youless my cats hate it my male cat hates it more he howls when he has a bath its funny how he howls he tries to come out but i dont let him but the funny thing is my female cat when i go to the bath he sits in the bathroom sitting in the bathroom waiting for me how strange is that i love my cats they are so cute thanks for this discussion

i never heard of cats taking a bath, its a usual hearsay for us that cats hates taking a bath.

i think it will like.because the cat will wash it's face by itself but the dog won't .so i think the cat likes having a bath.but it just my persnoal standpoint.^^

For what i know cats hate to have a bath....they just hate it.It is not in their nature to take a bath......

I have 2 cats and neither one likes taking a bath. No matter how I do it they will try everything they can to run away.

Of cousre not!! LOL. The best way is to get them used to it at a young age. Hold them by the scruff of there neck like a momma cat would. It send endorphins down them that relax them. Then its easier for you to wash them. I have done this with several cats and never had a problem.
