does anybody know what a TAHINI is?

i wanted to make a shawarma/kebab. and one of the main ingredient for the sauce is a TAHINI (sesame seed paste), im from the Philippines and i have no idea where to buy it; please help me

Tahini is made similar to the way you would make peanut butter. To make tahini, sesame seeds are soaked in water for a day, then crushed to seperate the bran from the kernels. The crushed seeds are put into salted water, where the brans sinks to the bottom but the kernels float on top and are skimmed out. They are toasted and then ground to produce the oily paste.
