Has perfume or cologne ever changed the way you look at someone?

I've certainly had the opposite. I met a stranger's eye at the bar and he was very good looking. He kept talking to his friends but maintaining eye contact with me. I found this confidence very sexy and was glad when he started to make his way towards me. But as he approached, I smelled his cologne. The same kind my dad always wears. YUCK! I brushed him off and got out of there, lol.
