can data be recovered after hdd was reformatted?how?

my friend accidentally reformatted all the hard disk on my personal computer(3 hdd's),now im using a laptop and i havent saved a copy of all the data that was stored there. would it still be possible for me to recover the data that was lost? if anyone could tell me how, please do so. thanks in advance.

dear friend if you format your hard drive and reinstall it with a newer one software then there is no chance to recover your data.
mine a dvice is that always take your backup in 1 or 2 dvd,s

well, it would be hard to back up all the data that i have, 2 dvd's are not enough, nor 10.:)

There are a few ways to get back that information and one of the ways is to run a tool to basically recover the data, like the one at:
