How many of you all eat salads with your meals. salads are know to have high anti oxidants so do are we making that also a part of your daily diet. If yes then what do you usually have.
I like having cucumber and tomato with honey and pepper and a pinch of salt.

Love salad!!! I usually have romaine lettuce, leaf lettuce, green onions, tomatoes, and red and green peppers with tomato type dressings either Catalina, Russian, dried tomato, Italian salad dressing, but I do not like the low calorie kind because it has too much sugar and too vinegary. I also like taco salads but the only time I get it is when we go to a restaurant. I do not care for potato salads. Oh and I like the salad they make at Olive Garden. I better stop now, I'm getting very hungry.

Yes we eat a salad with dinner most nights of the week. (tossed salad) Now with summer around the corner we will eat a lot more. Sometimes that is the meal. I love Caesar salad.

I can't stand salads. I'm allgeric to tomatoes so that's out and I can't stand the way lettuce tastes. Ewwww it's so nasty. But everyone else in my family loves them.

ya rightly said fruits and vegetables are a good form of anti oxidants.. they help protect us from cancer.. eating raw fruits and vegetables in the form of salad is very good.. i eat with lime and salt.. sometimes with chilli.. its tangy and nice.. its always best to eat fruit salads with honey.. instead of sugar..

I cannot eat salad. I have IBS so any salad I have will upset my stomach. I have even stopped serving cooked vegetables at dinner. I know serve raw celery, carrots, tomato, cucumber and some veggie dip. Even there something still manages to upset my tummy. It may be the dip but I don't use very much.
My husband doesn't like salad. Out of the above all I can get him to eat are the carrots and cucumber.
But we both take multi-vitamins so we have to believe we are getting the nutrition we need through the vitamins.

I have a salad day. where we have salad for dinner. I like cucumber and carrots with french dressing. Some meals I will make throughout the week include salad as a side dish, but at least once a week we will have a salad.
