After a stellar turnaround in their series with the Sharks, the Wings are now in the Western Conference Finals for the first time since 2002.
The Wings had a great defensive series with the Sharks, allowing only 7 goals in 6 games.
Once again, the Wings are being picked to lose this series. The 5/6 "experts" at ESPN pick the Ducks to win. Not that that means anything at all...all 6 "experts" picked the Sharks to advance past the Wings. (Barry Melrose has yet to pick the Wings once this playoff season. Thanks Barry for not jinxing us like you have in the past!)
Series Schedule:
Game 1: Friday, May 11: 7:30 @ Detroit
Game 2: Sunday, May 13: 7:30 @ Detroit
Game 3: Tuesday, May 15: 9:00 @ Anaheim
Game 4: Thursday, May 17: 9:00 @ Anaheim
Game 5*: Sunday, May 20: 3:00 @ Detroit
Game 6*: Tuesday, May 22: 9:00 @ Anaheim
Game 7*: Thursday, May 24: 7:30 @ Detroit
*If necessary. All times are EST.
Thank you to the NHL for putting the west coast games on at an eastern time zone friendly time!

Heatherc thank you for posting the times for the games. You are a G-d send! All the Wings have to do is play each and every game like they did game 6 against The Sharks and the cup will come back home to Hockey Town! Go Wings!

GO WINGS....I hope they keep under estimating them all the way to the Stanley Cup.
