Yes, I agree that it was a little sentimental. I think that the character of Peter Parker was this time in midst of finding his ownself and there was a fight between his good and bad side. Therefore, there had to be a lot of emotion involved. Some of my friends said that they liked the first and second installment more than the latest third one. However, looking at the special effects in the movie. For example the sand special effects. I would say that the third installment was a better product overall. It had good twists to keep the audience intrigued throughout

I haven't seen it but from what my friends say the best part was the special effects. Actually, most say that is the only part that is good. Most say it was too long and sucked. I might wait to see it when it comes out on dvd.
