Artichoke (Globe) Recipies anyone?

I have my fruit and veg delivered and it's seasonal, this means I don't know what's in the box before it arrives on my door step and I get to try new veg that I would never think of trying otherwise. This week I got Globe Artichokes. Any suggestions on preparation and/or recipes would be greatly appreciated.
