Ok I just need to vent. Mu hubby is military and so he is away to take a class( thank god he is not overseas). he will only be gone for three weeks, but that is the longest he has been away from us. It is day 3 and me and my daughter are having the biggest power struggle. First, she woke up extra early , and I had only just went to sleep becasue I was studying fo finals. I was like ok that's fine I will just take a nap when she naps.
Well breakfast was a mess. She wanted to feed herself teh oatmeal and I was just like it is too early in teh morning for you to be flinging food around. so she wouldn't open her mouth when I brought teh spoon up. thiss took an hour.
So we napped then at lunch I gave her some green beans and chicken. She picked the tray up and dropped everything. I was just think oh my gosh this is going to be a long day. then dinner spagehhti o's. Again she had to feed herself so I let her. She got upset so I tried to feed her she tried to grab the spoon. So i gave it to her and she got upset. I was like ok we will try eating dinner later.
The worst fight of all was when i went to the bathroom. I never wanted to scream so much in my life. She kept coming in the bathroom and trying to pull up on my legs and stand. i placed her back on the floor outside the door. She cried as if I had just beat her. I was so upset I was like mommy needs to use the restroom.
I never realized how hard this was without help. Single moms and other military moms with husbands gone. I commend you . You are the strongest woman, because I am going crazy. And it is only the third day!!!
Anyone else got any stories to make me shut up and thank god my day wasn't worse?
Seriously God Bless all you moms that ahve to do it alone. You are not appreciated enough.
