Can Asian people wear contact lenses?

i am asian but my eyes are not so cute so i dont have much problem wearing contact lenses. however, there are some whose eyes are just too cute and i know for a fact that they have a hrd time inserting the contact lens in their eyes. i think asians are better off wearing glasses so as not to stretch their eyes from too much opening. :)

definitely asians can, cos i've realised that it's not a matter of eye size. i remember a turkish friend of mine took slight offence when i asked her this. whether she needed special contact lenses cos her eyes were so big. they were really huge and beautiful! i was just asking innocently cos geekily wondering whether her pupil was larger than most. how's your rooming situation coming along? asians are usually (i emphasise that word) good roomies.

Yes they can no problem.There is no distinction as such.I feel that wearing glasses is more of a necessity rather than style.

Frankly, your question is very interesting. Why can't Asian people wear contact lenses? I can ensure you it's no problem at all.

hahahah.. what is the difference between asian n non-asian? I wonder what makes you wonder like this...lol I'm korean. so many girls(or boys) here, they wear contact lens. soft lens, rgp(hard) lens. and some girls take operations such as lasik for better eyesight. if you think asians have small eyes, i'd like to say u have kind of fantasy and u r wrong. 'coz some do, some don't like non-asian.

Is this a joke ?? Were you kidding when you put this question up?? I'm just wondering, because during World War II, Americans actually assumed that Japanese could not "see well" because of the shape of their eyes...that turned out to be an Absurd assumption...Asians can wear contacts just as easily as Caucasians, African Americans, Eskimo's, American Indians...you name it!! I was an Optician for 25 years..and taught thousands of people how to use contacts..from all walks of life!@!

this is just mean :( there are azn's here :( i think koreans have small eyes so go talk to them about it not all azn's have small eyes...and i have 2 friends (that i know of) that wear contacts and they're ok i don't wear contacts, good vision for me :-D
