My DH and I debate. I'd rather die younger than live a long time and be unable to do everything I want to do. My mom died young, not fair, but at least she didn't linger on unhealthy. His parents are mid/upper 80"s. Mom has alzheimers and dad (88) takes care of her. They always took all the supliments/vitamins. But what's the point of living that long? His dad is in great health and active, but lifes been hard on him because of his wife's condition.

Isn't good to live long and see what other wonders of this world can brings...
You know what? A lot of people really wants to live their life up to the fullest and live long, they are striving so hard just to feel healthy and be able to do more things in their lives.
But yeah, what's the use of taking lots of medicines, vitamis if they were dying already?
Well, have you thought that maybe they still have a lot of unfinished business and they still have something to do for other people in order for them to satisfy their selves before they die...
SO for me, even we're young, we have to do something and start to make a point, start to do something for your future, and make a plan how you can make your life so meaningful and useful to others.
Have a nice day ahead from Francis.

I guess that depends on how young your talking, I want to live as long as i can be in my right mind and am able to take care of myself, I worked in a nursing home for 15 years and i would not want to live as some of them do.So if i can live a quality life than im ok with living longer.

For me, I'd wanna live long. I feel that life has too much to offer and too many possibilities. There are so many 'what ifs' in life and you can only chose one of them. So continue exploring and as they say, life is a journey, not a destination.
