guys vs girls as friends

I have always been more prone to being friends with guys for the simple fact that they are straight up with you. I love my girlfriends but i hated the fact that if they had a problem with you, they would go behind your back and winge then come and tell you to your face, whereas guys, if they have a problem with you, they tell you straight up!
Girls though i find are easier to talk to with emotional stuff and guys are easier to talk to when you wanna talk technical advice etc.
What ideas do you have on the subject? Id love to know as everyone has an opinion.

Well my best friend is a man and I have always gotten along better with me. Women there is always some drama and you can actually get better advice from a man on emotional stuff then a women. I talk to my best friend about male problems, health, love you name it, we talk about everything like he is my girlfriend.

I guess there is no such thing as girls behind your back and then come and tell you to your face..nor i guess its true that guys are not easy to talk regarding emotional stuff...you just cant generalize this because you have experienced so,,,i guess both guys and gals can make good friends........but in my case girls have an upper edge...

Yes I am the same..I have guys as friends and girls infact very less I believe they are very straight up and suggest us better in many aspects

i like guys as a friend too than girls. mainly because they are much fun to be with since they have thrills in life. you know whenever girls hang out they just go to mall gossiping or talking about the latest fashion. when boys hang out, they do exciting stuff like strolling, driving, or even just making fun of anyone we see. sometimes we even go and trash the mall.. lol... girls though, i agree with you, is easier to talk to with regards to emotional issues. i mean who can understand it better than girls too right?

Most of my friends have always been guys, for me I can relate better. As for my girlfriends, they are cool as well, but sometimes they can get a little to emotional for my taste. Guys do tell it like it is and for me that's a great thing, at lest I'd know how they feel. So I agree with you.
